First table of contents write up

How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?

My table of contents does not challenge conventions as it is very simple and cut & dry. It looks just like any other basic table of contents with simple titles for each topic mentioned in the magazine. The social group my table of contents speaks to is dog owners. My articles/topics relate to things dog lovers and dog owners would need to know. From dog training information to fun facts my magazine has something for any dog owner to enjoy.

How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?

My magazine provides information about how to take care of your dog and what would be best for them. There are many articles that touch on unconventional topics that would be good for dog owners to know, beyond the basic care of your dog. It would be distributed both physically and digitally with a q&a section on the magazine's website for the audience to submit questions or topics they'd like to see included in the magazine.
